as women, full moonās are typically connected to the ovulation phase of our monthly hormone cycle.
a period of time that is ripe for creation, change, spending time in community and taking action.
as a womenās health coach, I have studied cycle syncing at length. living in greater alignment with all 4 phases of our cycle can unlock deeper levels of potential ~ physically, mentally + spiritually.
this practice not only covers intensity of exercise and aspects of nutrition for each cycle phase, but powerful shifts in self care and productivity.
so in the spirit of aligning more of my content, offerings and information with this practice ~ when these posts land in your inbox on or around the full moon I hope that you are able to pause with your cup of coffee or tea and spend a quality moment with yourself. to call IN your autonomy and your majesty.
this weekās moon in sagittarius is expansive, truth-seeking and unapologetically bold. it will illuminate the part of us that asks why when everyone else has accepted the answer. the part that isnāt content to live a small life, a borrowed life, someone elseās version of a meaningful life.
as a collective, we are living in a time where it is becoming increasingly difficult to identify which thoughts are our own. we are overstimulated, overworked and over-influenced.
the first ask from this weekās sag full moon is:
notice how quickly the outside world gets in.
notice how long you can stay in your own energy each morning until the world opens back up.
how long after your eyes open before you pick up your phone? before you are in someone elseās reality, someone elseās argument or someone elseās version of what is true?
that gap, no matter how small, is where your *signal lives.
that gap is sacred. that signal holds direction.
the second ask from this weekās sagittarius full moon is:
over the next two weeks leading up to the gemini new moon, prioritize spending time in your very own gap. the space between your dream state and your screen time.
come back to your truth + what truly matters to you. ask:
what have I learned since december? what has shifted in me? what small change am I ready to make? what mountain have I been staring at instead of walking toward?
this isnāt about a life overhaul, but the opportunity that stems from action.
āthe centaur archer stands with one foot in instinct and the other in wisdom, wild and civilized at once. the arrow is always aimed at something beyond what is currently visible. intuitively trusting the trajectory even when the destination canāt yet be seen.
the path of determination isnāt dramatic. it isnāt a single heroic decision. it is the decision to keep going, in small, focused consistent ways, even when the task feels impossibly large. it is one step, then the next, then the next, and one day you will realize that you are half way there.ā - amy lea

seasonal self care.
I. a simple summery staple. chef tay + iās picnicking go-to! beets, raddichino, parm cheese, pickled onions, castelvetrano olives, high quality EVOO and tayās famous salsa macha!
salsa macha
1/2 cup peanuts
1 tbsp pepitas
1 tbsp slivered almonds
2 oz raw sesame seeds
2 oz garlic cloves
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 oz dried guajillo chiles, stems + seeds removed
1 oz dried chiles de Ɣrbol, stems + seeds removed
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
How to make it:
Toast peanuts, pepitas, and almonds in a dry skillet for 2 minutes. Add sesame seeds and toast one more minute. Set aside. In a deep skillet, fry garlic in the oil until golden. Add the chiles and fry on low for 1 minute. Add your toasted nuts and seeds and fry another minute ā you want the chiles a deep red. Keep stirring. Do not walk away. Burnt chiles = bitter salsa macha. Pour everything into a container with the salt, vinegar, and water. Blend to your preferred consistency with an immersion blender or regular blender. Taste and adjust. my no. 1 most requested recipe and the no.1 reason I am a matcha snob. it is hydrating, perfectly sweet and just in time for spring.

III. moon glow flow. our weekly wind-down yoga class is in full swing at our new private studio space in del mar, ca! every thursday evening at 7p for a candlelight gentle flow. a time to rest, to digest and just be. for the month of may I will be opening 3 complimentary spots per class - first come first serve!
a mindful moment.
as a yoga teacher, i start each class by asking everyone a grounding question - followed by a pause for collective group share. this is a practice that i learned from my angel teacher and mentor, karina gerschler. someone who deeply understood the remembrance that comes from a pause to check-in & connect with others.
in an attempt to bring that practice to moonglowweekly, letās sign-off with sharing what is one small change you are ready to make?
